Here at Kybotech, we’re always on the lookout for new talent – for people and personalities that gel with our company ideals and are hungry for success. So to understand what life at Kybotech is like, we think there’s no better way than to talk to some of the real people who work there.

Check out their answers below to see if Kybotech is the right fit for you!

Let’s start simple – who are we talking to?

Hi there, I’m Brittanny.

Britt’s Role

Which brand do you (primarily) work on/for?

I mainly work on BillyOh.

What department do you work in?

So I’m a content writer in the marketing department.

Cool, and can you briefly explain what your role involves?

I write blog posts for both BillyOh and Garden Buildings Direct, but mostly for BillyOh.

How long have you worked at Kybotech?

Almost 2 years now!

“I continue to gain more and more experience and knowledge about content writing”.

How big is your team/immediate department?

I’d say, the core team is like 3-5 people.

A Day In Brittanny’s Life

So what does “a day in your life” look like?

At the start of the week, I do some data tracking for the BillyOh blogs to get the weekly data. This includes SEO stuff with tools like Ahrefs and Google Search Console and traffic checks with Google Analytics.

But in general, I write at least one blog post a day for BillyOh (or sometimes for GBD). This is all the research, writing, editing, and posting for picture posts, product-related content, influencer interviews etc.!

“This company has allowed me to pursue my passion – this time as a career”.

And what gets you out of bed and to work in the morning?

Basically, getting work on a new task. This means constant learning and discovery for me and it’s one of the things I look forward to at work.

So how have you found working remotely during the past 1-2 years, Brittanny?

I like it! I’ve been working remotely since March 2020, and it’s been more effective and convenient on my part. I used to commute to work for what seemed like ages every day…so, yeah 😂. I also have a small working area in my room, which is a big advantage in terms of staying focused at work and being productive.

What’s one proud moment you’ve had whilst working here?

One thing that I’m proud of is that I continue to gain more and more experience and knowledge about content writing, with a bit of digital marketing expertise. Most importantly, I’m growing in my career (slowly but surely)!

What’s on your list to achieve over the next year?

To focus on developing my writing skills and expand my proficiency in marketing.

Growth and Skills

How have you seen the company change/grow since you’ve been working here?

Communication is key, and this company never fails to deliver that. As for the growth, the credit goes to all the dedicated employees. The company continues to thrive (despite the situation), and that’s all because of the people behind the scenes. In return, the company shows appreciation and gratitude, which I genuinely appreciate.

What useful skills have you learned whilst working here?

Adaptability, SEO knowledge and general communication skills.

Why did you decide to apply to Kybotech – What was it about the role that seemed attractive?

I love to write, but I used to do it mainly for fun and personal experience. But this company has allowed me to pursue my passion – this time as a career. A few years later, here I am, constantly growing!

Any advice for potential candidates?

If you want to start a writing career but don’t have a heap of experience yet, Kybotech could be your first stepping stone.
